• Jesus often went to the home where the two sisters and a brother, Martha, Mary and Lazarus, lived to take a rest. At that day, Jesus visited their home and said to them. Then, Mary sat down before Jesus and listened to his teaching.

Her sister Martha was upset over all the work that she had to do. So, she complained to Jesus.

"Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do all the work, by myself? Tell her to come and help me."

    • Then, Jesus said.

"Martha, you are worried and troubled over so many things. Mary has chosen the right thing, for she wanted to listen to the Gospel of Heaven."

Martha realized what Jesus said was right.

"Right. It does not matter that I was worried and troubled over. It is more important to listen to Jesus' teaching and do as he told."

Her realization made her find peace of mind.
